When we moved, I decided we may as well ditch the crib since princess_crow hated it anyway, so she's on a floor mattress for a while before we put up the toddler bed. You know, so she gets used to where the edges are before she's more than a couple inches off the ground.
Night one, she took a little while to settle in because her new room was so exciting, but then she slept til 7:30 instead of 6. YESSS.
Night two, same thing. Still only napping in her bouncer seat, and later than normal because everything is so exciting in a new house.
Night three, played by herself in her bed after I left, then fell asleep ON HER OWN. She woke up early because she fell out of bed (and onto the pillow I put next to the bed just in case), so she was a little freaked out. Next day, didn't nap.
Night four, last night, fell asleep in MOMENTS and slept through the night.
AND TODAY. RIGHT NOW. She is napping in her bed for the first time ever. Any time I tried the crib for naps she would just scream and then strike for days so I let her nap in the bouncer because mama needs a break once a day at least. Today, at her normal nap time even, we were playing in her room and she came over to where I was sitting on her mattress, pulled my shirt down, nursed for like two minutes, and fell asleep. When I moved her off of me and onto the mattress, she woke up and looked around, then rolled over and passed out.
I am so excited I could pee! She isn't napping on me or in the living room! She isn't fighting sleep because she hates the crib! No more baby jail and no more miserable mom! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
