On my way to pick up my daughter, with my 2 yr old in the backseat. Turns out my alternator died. A police officer and a kind stranger stopped to help push me to the gas station. Cried in front of 3 strangers. Meanwhile, my toddler was entirely chill and happy the whole time (thank God because it was 100 degrees out). My husband got to us in 20 minutes, switched over the carseats, picked up my daughter, and dropped them off at our neighbors so we could get the car out of the gas station parking lot. I'm so glad we are all safe and the car is home, but we can't fucking afford these repairs. Everything is so damn expensive, and we're already late on rent this month. I'm so tired. It's like one thing after the next. I feel so embarrassed.
