I found a nifty Volcano kit to test run for the kids. We were going to do it outside when it gets nice out. Preferably, when I start my Earth Science unit. STBXH decides to open it for the stupid geode, thus ruining the kit and the unit. So, naturally, the youngest kid takes pieces of the experiment and loses it. STBXH, in turn, yells at my son, even though STBXH OPENED the kit after I repeatedly told him not to. Embarassing because he did it in front of the kids. Worse, he's working substantially less hours because his boss is mean to him. Now, this stupid asshole will be home 3 days a week to put together his business plans or try to run mine for me. FML.

And yes, I stood up to my stbxh for really gaslighting a 5 year old kid. I'm also enrolling them in swimming lessons. He says, "You should have my mom pay for them". The same woman who told me that I'm not good at breastfeeding? The same lady who took the intiative to throw my belongings during my move? Or choose a formula without my consent for my newborn after 2-weeks in the NICU because "I struggle"? Awesome! Then he says, "Why should we pay for the lessons?" and I snapped at him and screeched, "Because I chose to have them, idiot. They're my responsibility.". He also loves to interrupt my homeschooling lessons to quiz my kid! I was teaching my kid the parts of speech. He goes, "This is too advanced for her". And gives her a simple Hooked On Phonics book to read back to him. She reads it and he rolls his eyes and apologizes. Hate him.
