Teenagers can be so annoying. My daughter is 13 and pissed we're making her clean her room before going to a friend's this weekend. She said, "no offense Mom, but it's a little too late to repair our relationship." Da fuq?
I hate that I feel like being petty back to her. I don't want to feel that way. I wish I had a little therapist fairy on my shoulder when situations like this occur because for the life of me I cannot remember the right things to say or how to communicate what needs to be said/done. When my kid starts saying or acting these ways and I try to talk to her my mind becomes a swirl and I can't think of anything.
