Hank comes to terms with Walter. He does not agree with what Walter did, but does understand. Hank retires from the police force and takes over as manager of Skyler's car wash business. Marie also helps with the business. See after Hank begrudgingly understands Walter's event horizon, Walter offers Hank and Marie 5,000,000 (5 mil), but Hank cannot accept (at that point, all the gruesome scenes start to go thru Hank's mind ), but since he can no longer remain a crime fighter, accepts a managerial position overseeing the five car washes (4 of them purchased during episodes (3 - 5).

Unfortunately, Jessie commits suicide. Walter finally breaks down when scenes of his corruption on Jessie flash through his mind. Alone at the crematory, while crying out loud, yelling for God's forgiveness...in storms Lydia with Mike in a modified wheel chair outfitted with a 40mm laser guided short range missile system with the capacity to pierce 40 inches of armor plating or disintegrate a human being. Lydia on the other hand is carrying a made for woman automatic assault mini rifle one in each hand and starts firing immediately in Walter's direction, but of course misses and suddenly falls to the ground due to a round ricocheting off of the specially enhanced steel door Walter created for Jesse's final place of rest that struck her in the head. The steel was designed by plans Gale created which Walter discovered while he was tiding up Gales belongs at Gus's meth lab shortly after Jessie accidentally killed Gale.

Mike in his very slurred speech says to Walter, No More Half Measur... and is about to push a button to a device he has on his crotch when in comes his granddaughter with Saul who has been dating the now 21 yr old woman since she was 18 and fires a shot from her specially designed again by Gale silenced made for sophisticated women 50 cal single shot hand gun at her grand father, killing him immediately. Turns out she never forgave her grandfather for not killing the man who would eventually kill her mother. Remember the no more half measures story. Well that was her mother.

Behind the scenes earlier in the day, Mike had planted 2000 lbs of C4 explosive in the crematory. Saul decides in order to best get rid of all the incriminating evidence, props Mike's no dead hand over the detonator figuring it would take at least five minutes for rigor mortis to set in triggering the detonator. Which is exactly what happens.
