I’m not believing the whole Mauricio and Kyle situation. I know this is someone’s family, and I should leave it alone; I just can’t help feeling that the will they-won’t they, whatever happenings with them feels disingenuous. He did have a serious discussion with his daughters about parental separation, so there’s that.
Which part don't you believe? I definitely believe that they have grown apart and probably aren't in love anymore. I also believe they will never divorce. Too much money and no prenup.
Yeah, I remember in the early seasons when they were talking about him leaving Hilton to start the Agency. Her connections definitely gave him the opportunity, but she's not involved in the actual business, and that's what makes the money. And without a prenup, that's a lot of money that Mau stands to "lose".
Yeah, this is what I meant! They're obviously amicable enough to stay together legally because dividing the assets would be more of a (potentially contentious) hassle than a happy 50/50 split.
Now I'm googling Betty Broderick.
Yeah but Kyle isn't the reason they're worth mega millions. Mau doesn't want to give up all of his money.
I just read her Wikipedia page. Definitely going to check out both the movie and series. Probably will try to find her episode of snapped, too!

Totally agree! I'm sure they talked off camera in real life, then replicated the convos for the shows.
