Realworld brightness? Much brighter than OLED? Less than Samsung?

Post Body

I really want to buy this TV but I am worried it won't be bright enough for my daytime viewing. My room gets quite a lot of sun and has windows on the side wall (not directly opposite) where the TV would be.

I've read all the stuff about Samsung being brighter, but how much is that the case? Are they lots brighter? Or just brighter in a test but not necessarily that noticeable in actual use? Will the X90J look dim?

I went for a Samsung Q80T (Europe) last year but had so many issues with it turning on bright and then dimming automatically after a few seconds, and after 3 (!) repairs I gave up on it and got a refund, so I'm scared to go Samsung again but just worried I will get the X90J home and it will feel too dim.

My main use is daytime sports and gaming. Can some of you guys please chip in with your daytime experiences and if you've directly compared brightness with any other TVs? Will the X90J appear much brighter than OLED?
