So basically as you all know not all weapons are equal since some cap earlier than others (which is pretty stupid imo). I think this gives us a good idea on how to gauge weapon strength though since most of the weapons are capped and will not get any stronger than they already are. This is personally how I'd rank them:
S Tier:
Longsword: The only weapon to hit level 60 and therefore the only weapon to have UBB. This weapon literally has a better kit than Sirius. Tri Stat/BB per turn/BB on hit/BB Mod/Ares/BB on Spark is silly.
Staff: Such an amazing weapon and even though it caps at 50 it still offers so much. Your heals are pretty much covered and you'll always have the elemental advantage versus the enemy. It also comes with the elusive DEF convert and imo the best EX skill in the entire game.
A Tier:
Falcon Blades: BC on Spark and Spark damage ensures that you always have BC up especially with 5-6 units on the field at once. Just a really solid weapon in general.
Dagger: 2 Hit, ATK down, EWD, and BC per turn makes this thing pretty damn solid. It doesn't generate as much BC/HC as claw but with more damage and utility it definitely makes up for the reduced healing and BC gen.
Claw: The amount of BC/HC this thing pumps out is so ridiculous. You can pretty much beat all content prior to Battle Room 2 with just this because of how efficient it's BC/HC drop rate is. It's not as amazing as it was back then, but it's really good still.
A- Tier
- Bow: If the enemy is affected by ailments this weapon instantly becomes amazing, and if not you become a BB battery for your entire team. Essential for Battle Room 2 almost and when applicable becomes an extremely solid weapon.
B Tier
Hammer: It does damage. More than Katana.
Katana: Does lots of damage, but that's pretty much it. If you can afford having a unit just contribute damage than you are good to go.
B Tier
Scythe: It offers healing and some EWD for some nice damage. Outclassed heavily by staff but still functions as a decently solid weapon.
Greatsword: Amazing on release for giving a DEF buff and while heavily outclassed now at least comes with DEF convert making it far from useless.
Pistols: A weaker version of twin swords. Was good for it's time, but now it's nothing amazing.
Whip: Pretty awkward weapon, doesn't excel in anything. It would be stronger if multiple bosses were more of a thing, but as of this moment it just stands as awkward. 50% All Stats is pretty detrimental and should not be used at all.
B- Tier:
- Brave Spear: Most of it's buffs are found on other units, and it has far exceeded it's lifetime.
C Tier:
- Brave Axe: This is actually really unreliable for damage. just take Katana, Hammer, or Longsword.
Talukita Tier:
- Brave Sword: Friendly reminder that Brave Sword is garbage.
This is my own personal ranking of the weapons and I'd like to discuss it with you guys. Even if you don't have experience with the newer ones you can still share your input based on data and what you know about previous weapons.
