Unit Capacity Glitch/Bug

So I decided to upgrade my unit capacity today because I have been saving up some gems and I need the space for BBQ fodder. The thing is, before I started upgrading it, I had 34 gems and 100 capacity. When I finished upgrading it I had 130 space but 30 gems. So if I used 4 gems doesn't that mean I should've ended with 120 capacity? I was looking forward to use 6 gems so I upgraded the capacity really quick one after another 6 times. I used the Upgrade unit capacity Button on the Shop tab. I think this already happened to me once but I wasn't sure so I didn't post anything, this time I'm 100% sure.

Has this ever happened to anyone?
