2 proposals for change, 1 addition

Post Body

Hello all, some of you may be familiar with my username as I find myself quite active on this sub. I really enjoy Brave Frontier and I've spent a good amount of money on it. However, there are a couple things I would like to discuss with you and to get your opinions on.

2 Proposals for Change

  • One thing I've always thought about that would be a very simple addition to the game, without breaking it, would be to add the option to name your squads. This would function much like the "boxes" in the PCs in Pokemon. Personally, I had a box for each type of Pokemon (fire, water, etc). and much the same applies to Brave Frontier. I have a mono-squad of each team, a BB spam squad, and Metal Parade squad. We've all been playing for some time, so obviously this isn't something that would "fix" anything, but it would be a good way for organizing units for those who are OCD about it (me).

  • This is an idea I've also been thinking about for a long time and am just now putting into words. With the release of 6* evolutions, and with them being 500k Zel to produce, and the frankly awful yields in Zel from the weekend dungeon, I would like to see a change made to the Jewel Key schedule. This proposal for change is actually in direct relation to my idea for an addition to the game, but I'll get to that later. What I would like is to keep the Metal Key schedule intact (Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri), but instead of only 1 Jewel Key per week on Wednesday, I would like to see a change of 2 Jewel Keys, 1 on Saturday, 1 on Sunday. I find myself scrambling for Zel a lot of the time as the evolution of units becomes increasingly more expensive. The weekend dungeons, in my opinion, are horrible resources and giant energy-eaters, making it almost not worth it at all (like the Karma dungeon, but that's a complaint for a different day). Along with this, there is a chance that maybe Gumi can take out the weekend Zel dungeon and replace it with something else (ideas are welcome and encouraged!). I have not been able to come up with something to replace the weekend dungeon, but like I said, this is just an idea.

1 Addition

  • This is just something I thought of recently, and as I said earlier is in direct relation to the moving of the Jewel Key to the weekend. What if Gumi added a special key, this one being just once a week, that allowed us to open any of the weekday Vortex dungeons? Did you just summon a new unit today but don't have the proper evolution materials? Why wait a whole 6 days to get the Tuesday dungeon, when you can just use a key to get that elusive Dark Pot? It would work just like MP and JP: you get one hour, energies remain the same as the normal dungeon. I think this would be a great idea for players who summon a new unit that fits perfectly into their squad that they would want to build, but the timer on the dungeon is going to run out before they're going to be able to get the proper evolution materials. For people like me who like instant gratification, I personally think this would be a great implementation that would absolutely not break the game. Limiting it to one key a week and only for one hour, keeping the energy the same as the normal vortex, and being only able to open one Vortex at a time should balance it pretty nicely.

Please feel free to comment, and don't downvote if you simply disagree. I would like to see some discussion here and some feedback on my ideas, I don't mind if you don't like my ideas but don't downvote just for the sake of downvoting.

Thanks for reading!
