Brave Search Bar Widget Question

When I click the brave search bar widget it has about five previously recommended or 'recent' searches I guess but their completely inaccurate, one is of a takeout menu pdf from a restaurant I ordered one time months ago. It doesn't populate with actual recent searches and I can't figure out how to clear it or edit it, any help would be greatly appreciated!
