Reddit running painfully slow on Brave

This has been an ongoing issue for me. I've looked back at old posts on here about Reddit not working well on Brave, but trying those solutions haven't worked for me (searched for ABPFilterParserData.dat to delete, deleted cookies, updated, restarted computer, etc). I thought maybe it was Reddit but once I opened it in another browser, it loaded just fine.

A few examples of how it glitches: I click on one post, it opens the previous/next one instead. I go to leave a comment, it takes a good 30s for the cursor to appear. The page freezes often, new posts won't load as I scroll, and videos take forever to play.
