Hello r/brave_browser,

Having downloaded Brave Browser has exposed me to the world of cyber security. I have been learning about cyber security from friends and colleagues now because of the exposure and education of Brave Browser. Big thank you to the Brave Browser creators and community!

I have also just downloaded ExpressVPN because of what I am learning about cyber security. This should address more concerns that is not addressed by the browser. I am planning on watching John Wick (for the first time lol I know) on 123movies. I understand the that trackers and malware can be attached for people not using Brave or Express VPN.

Does Brave browser and Express VPN protect me from viruses, malware and other infections? What should I know about how to protect myself further? How do infections even happen? And why does Brave Browser, Express VPN and other cyber security measures protect us from infections?
