already tried to clear the cache and cookies and update the components, anyone else having issues
also minor stuff on
X -in the settings it says "something went wrong try to refresh" ofc it doesnt help
and whatsapp web -cannot upload images
any ideas?
EDIT: my bad, it may actually not be brave's fault as now it started the same behavior on other browsers aswell
EDIT 2: same behavior started to appear on chrome as of today sept 21st
----SOLUTION---- (worked for me at least)
For some odd reason removing this extension fixed it for me.
On a side note: it should also work just by disabling it but I literally had to remove it and after reinstalling (double check OCD), only then I was able to make it work just by disabling it.
Hope this can help others, if not with the specific extension maybe with the method used since I am assuming to be an issue related to some specific behavior of the extensions themselves - as u/Maragi pointed out, others were affected by an emoji keyboard one
Couldn't solve it. A new Brave profile fixes it so I'm making a new Brave profile. Using the same extensions and other settings so it's clearly something that got into my profile.

For me a new profile fixes it. It's something in my Brave profile but I have no idea what. Annoying to get everything set back up but at least things work.
