Just finished the first Mistborn book

I finished reading mistborn book 1 in like 4 days. And I was wondering if people generally thought the series continues how great the forst book was. I was thinking about maybe reading some other sanderson books in between, like way of kings or wheel of time(i know its not sanderson until last 3 but I still want to read it)
