I remember when the album first came out there was a lot of speculation about the meaning of this song. There were rumors that it was about an abortion his partner had, citing the line "and you cant blame your mother, she's trying not to see you as her worst mistake" and others stating that this might be about Sherri Dupree.

And then there was this video of him breaking up a fight at a show that went sort of viral. He stated that he has a 13 year old and a 9 month old at home. We all know the 9 month old is his daughter Bowie that he had with his wife Andrea. That video was from 2016 so that would put the 13yo being born 2003-ish, right around when Deja came out.

Also, on Science Fiction, he references his son on two songs, Could Never Be Heaven... and on Desert. In Could Never Be Heaven... he mentions his wife, daughter, and son, presumably every member in his family.

I guess, with all of this, it makes me think that maybe You Wont Know is about his son. Maybe I am just spending too much time thinking about this but I was curious what the general consensus was on this .
