ear humming?

So back in early August I had a spinal MRI after they spotted a small tumor in my brain. During my MRI my left ear plug fell out, I told the MRI people but they did not seem to care and didn't do anything about it. Ever since when everything is dead quiet, I get a humming noise in my left ear (annoying). Do you think this is hearing damage from the MRI or effects from the tumor?
