It’s been years since I removed my braces, but I’m still wearing a retainer behind my bottom teeth. When I was 14 (?) I was told they would come off when I was 21, or 22.

A while after turning 22 I asked my dentist if it wasn’t time for it to come off soon. He told me they could remove it if I wanted to, but that my teeth might move if it’s removed.

I wanted to ask if you kept or removed yours, if you’re done with your braces. If you did, did your teeth move? Is there any way to find out if mine will?
