Dental cleanings with power chains
Post Body

Hey y'all!

Quick hygiene-related question - I just got power chains on my bottom row for the first time after having braces for a little over a year. My hygienist has had no problem working around the wire and she always gets my teeth and brackets sparkling without having to remove the wire first, but I wasn't sure if that ease would translate to cleaning with power chains on. I have a cleaning appointment mid-October.

Do y'all get your ortho to take the power chains off before cleanings? I don't want to be a pest if it's not necessary, but I want my teeth and brackets to be squeaky clean!
