Had braces 17 years ago.....still have my permanent bottom retainer on. Is that ok?
Post Body
Hey ya'll,
I have been reading a little about permanent retainers, and most people say that they eventually break and you should wear your removable retainer at all times. Thing is, when I originally got my braces they never gave me a retainer for my bottom teeth, only my top. I haven't worn my top retainer since high school, and thankfully my teeth have hardly moved. Just wondering if it's normal to still have this piece of metal on my teeth since it's been so long. Help?
