So I know I’ll get a lot of hate for this but I truly felt like I missed something when I finished this series?

I know people who bawl at even the mention of MODC which I understand the ending was truly sad and it set up for the theme of the entire season, it was so popular it even made a cameo in another BL of a different country

But I just really couldn’t get into Yushigu and Hao Ting

Seeing their relationship was sort of like the girlfriend your friend brings around that doesn’t necessarily fit with the group but makes an awkward effort?

Or the boyfriend all your girl friends talk shit about or whatever you know?

Like they were cute but I physically couldn’t see how they matched, Wayne Song had sexual energy, humorous energy, real all rounder and I can’t wait to see him in something else

But Huang Juan Zhi kinda just felt like he was there, I’m not sure if I even could put him in a Tsundere category or not

But I’m open to someone giving me their interpretation, maybe I could see it from a different perspective that may drive me to liking it
