I know I am late to the party but I just had to gush about this series somewhere!
I am a fan of Kdrama having binged watched A LOT of them so I was so excited to find out that KDrama BL exists. Now I finally finished watching the two seasons of To My Star.
My favorite Kdrama tropes are rich guy/exceptional guy falls for an ordinary person. To My Star was that but this is the first time (in S2) where the story actually highlights how a relationship from different classes and lifestyle can be an actual hurdle. Usually the tropes for conflict in stories like these are their family objections, family infighting, or worst some serial killer/past trauma 😂.
This is the first time I watched a drama that has a plot highly improbably to happen in real life yet still feel so grounded in their conflict and interactions. I just love it 10/10! And i hope that Kdram BL get more widespread and attention.
