I picked a tube of this up as an add-on because the reviews said it was a great product. The first thing I've noticed on Boxy is the reviews are deceiving. People will rate things with 5 hearts before they even receive the product and to find an honest review you have to flip through pages of positives before finding an honest. The second thing is this product is a little larger than a base product put in Ipsy boxes so the size of the tube was a letdown. The third problem is the biggest and one that is hard to find in the reviews, so I came here to share it. Here goes!

Let me start by saying I love to do facials while in a bubble bath because the steam from the water opens my pores besides a nice facial just makes a nice Epsom bubble bath even better. I was excited to try this product out and after opening it and seeing the size I was bummed but I was still excited to try it. I started adding it to my face and as I massaged the product in these black goops started to fall off my face and into my water. I thought the product needed to be mixed up a little or maybe it was bad. So I put the cap back on and squeezed the tube mixing the product up, opened it, and started to add more to my face, and just like before the more I massaged into my face the more stuff fell off! I fished out a fallen piece and realized it was a tea leaf, a whole tea leaf!! Determined to see this "amazing" result I finished and let it dry. As it dried more leaves fell off! This junk is like the lemon meringue pie scene in "Mrs. Doubtfire"! This was far from relaxing it was annoying AF! After it dried I washed it off and the only result was my skin felt like it does when I use apricot or the Dove exfoliating scrub nothing "amazing". I had to let the water out, clean my tub, and redo the Epsom/bubbles. After going through all of that I was irritated and left with maybe half a facial in the tube. I was so disappointed.😒

So, instead of soaking in bubbles and Epsom, I found myself steeping in black tea leaves, this product isn't worth the aggravation. If you want a nice exfoliation Dove sells a jar of stuff that leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth for half the price and you'll get more than one application as well. 😉
