Tips for buying and insights on specs
Post Body

Hi! I'm pretty convinced in getting my first porsche. The one I'm looking at is a 2015 boxster base with about 75k miles

I hope you can help me with the following questions, hoping to get some input before I do the test drive in the next few days

  • is 75k miles too much risk for a beginner? I'm not very familiar with the maintenance of vehicles and typically just let the dealers do their thing. What I'm hoping for is that something crazy doesn't typically happen around this mileage and my research told me not to worry so far?

  • how much does a PPI cost at porsche and do I need to make an appointment in advance?

  • the current model I'm looking at is around $34K does this sound about right? I've yet to see it in person but they say it's in great condition. It seems to have the following options: PDK, 19in wheels, xenon dynamic lights, power sports seats, infotainment package

  • I'm living in FL, would anyone have a ballpark for insurance for a 35 y.o male?

  • any big reason why this model and make in the current option isn't ideal / watch outs? The other option I'm considering is going for the 718 if that makes better sense

Before you ask, yes I do make enough and yes I've done a lot of research but I thought this community had some experts who can share insights

I do have a separate daily car!

Thanks in advance
