Essentials for boat in hunt?
Post Body

So I’m looking to expand my public land opportunities next year when it comes to deer hunting. I live fairly close to a 21,000 acre public marsh that’s open to hunting. I’d assume there’s some big deer that hang out deep in that marsh since it’s pretty remote.

With all that said, I plan to use my duck hunting boat (mod v with a surface drive) to access deep in this marsh. Does anybody on this sub do something similar? Any tips on setting up my boat for this? Anything I should bring? Obviously I’ll have all my normal hunting equipment, boating safety equipment, cell phone, gps, lights, back up paddle/push pole with me.
