So, I am a new collector. Just started really collecting this past month. Sure I have a few DVD/Blu-rays I accumulated over the years, but they were mostly acquired by happenstance. But now that I am purposely collecting releases I have hit a quandary.

How do you decide what to pick up?

Now I get that you should get what you like, and I am indeed doing this. But when it comes to the prices of some of these releases I find it hard to justify the spending. Also.

How do you decide what is a good thing to blind buy?

I recently purchase the double barbarian feature from Shout Factory. Sure it looked neat, but I saw that the quantity was limited and I had a sort of Fear of Missing Out.

How do you all deal with this?
