A few hours of scrubbing and a new one emerges.

Sometimes I purposely put up new climbs because it’s a brutal workout. Building a landing, carrying 80lbs pads, ladder, shovel, rope etc. It’s a lot of work. With friends it’s always so much more fun. Cleaning a Boulder, making sure it’s safe for repeats and seeing it in a guidebook is my greatest pleasure. This is Lewis Creek in Oakhurst CA just outside of Yosemite.
