used to live in boulder and went for a hike near Chautauqua Park, once on my hike i came across this building that was underground, all except for about 2 feet of the roof, on the north side of the structure, about 15 feet down a hill (in the trees in the map photo) was a huge metal door entrance, this "roof" was huge, huge! (probably 180ft by 200ft), no fence but there was a tower (on the south next to the above ground shed) with a surveillance camera pointed towards the area, usual things found on a roof, air ducting, compressors, look like any normal roof for an industrial or commercial building, yet the rest of the building was underground
i had some photos i took, but i can find the memory card with those rite now
anyone have any idea what it is?
thanks
edit: this is odd, after posting this submission i clicked on the link for the "building" that takes you to google maps, when it first goes to google maps you see a photo of the building with white trucks and vans around it, then a few seconds later it reloads to a photo that is missing the vans and trucks, odd... after examining the first photo that loads (with the trucks) i see the trees are a lot younger and there are "tops" missing on some of the rooftop hardware... the area where the the truck and what appears to be a trailer are were huge horizontal doors, the types used on storm shelters, open in the photo with the trucks, closed on the photo without, odd to have this entrance and the one below in the trees...
edit: just noticed that if you move the map up a little (to few the north) and then copy the link option and reload you can see the other entrance before the trees grew and covered it up, but the map still auto refreshes and it disappears
