Are there stores or dispensaries that sell starter kits for first time growers?

I found a seed in my Strawberry Cake cbd flower and figured this would be a great opportunity to learn to grow.

However, I don't know shit about any of it. I saw months back (maybe more) of a photo of a store selling kits for first time growers.

Is there anything like that I can come in and ask questions rather than order online?

Reason I ask is I live in CT so don't want to order anything to my address that may cause red flags (if thats a thing or just my paranoia).

I would basically need everything to grow 1 plant.
