Hello New Englanders!

Coming to you from cool and calm Southern New Hampshire, I hope the insert time of day you read this is treating you well.

After spending some time curiously browsing this sub and getting a sense of who posts here, I decided to take the midnight plunge and try this for myself. I'm feeling (non-sexually) frisky and wanted to see if I could connect with people on here since I'm already on Reddit more than I should be.

Before this gets too long, a little about me:

• I was going to make a spicy and engaging PowerPoint for this, but decided not to be insufferable tonight (just tonight though; I might make it later).

• I'm fully vaccinated (thanks science!), I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I don't do drugs. Just personally not for me, but you do as you please.

• I'm originally from South Florida, but my family is from the Caribbean.

• I'm in New Hampshire for work and have been here for a year now starting today (woohoo🎉)

• I worked from home most of last year so didn't get to explore much while I've been here.

• I'm Pan (no, I'm not into kitchen appliances), so adding this for my fellow Queer Redditors out there!

• I enjoy walking in semi-straight lines, reading the first 3rds of books, writing songs about anything other than love (it's a saturated market), and singing and dancing horribly.

• I love horror and documentary movies, PC games, and any comedy or adult animation shows.

• I love learning about new languages, cultures, and people groups. So much so that I want to make it an entire career! (Stay tuned for that! Or don't; you have autonomy.)

• I'm a talker, as you can see, and really enjoy talking about any and everything. I'll be the first to admit I don't know everything and the first to admit I'm wrong, so hopefully that helps you feel comfortable talking to me even if we don't agree on everything.

I know, I've droned on and almost forgot to put what I'm looking for on here. So, what I'm looking for:

• Platonic friendship with any age, gender, nationality, race/ethnicity, religion, etc.

• Someone to hang out with whether that's playing video games or just walking downtown.

• Someone who is comfortable with the fact that sometimes I take a weird amount of time to respond to messages, but that's just me. I will get back to you!

• Someone I didn't scare off with this long post.
