Here are a few r/Bostonr4r updates for you all:

1. How do I get verified?Unsurprisingly, this question comes up frequently, so I am making the process more visible to r/bostonr4r users.

As many of you know, there is a post frequency limit to r/bostonr4r which was instituted to cut down on spam/bot posts on the sub - this change that has been quite successful. In response to this change, we also instituted a process for redditors to become "Verified" on r/bostonr4r. One of the benefits of becoming a verified redditor is that you are exempted from the post frequency limit, and may post once per day. Please note that your account must be at least 7 days old in order to become verified.

To verify your account, please send a mod mail message with a SAFE FOR WORK image of you (enough to confirm gender) holding a piece of paper containing:

• Username
• r/bostonr4r
• Age
• Gender (male, female, trans, non-binary)
• Date and Time

Unfortunately reddit does not allow users to attach photos to messages. Options for sending images to the mods include:

a) uploading your verification to a image hosting site like imgur and sending us the link
b) posting your verification pic to your reddit profile and sending us the link to the post
c) sending reddit chat with your verification pic to one of the mods

2) Post Frequency Update:As of 3/1/2020 the post frequency limit will decrease from one post every 7 days to one post every 5 days.
