I certainly do. I'm haunted by the memory of that night on my porch, where I'm sure if I had invited Allison inside, she would have said yes. And the time Elena was crashing with me, and we made out for a minute, but I said something awkward and ruined the moment. There's the time way back in college when Melissa hit on me but my dumb virginal ears didn't hear it. The ride home I gave Colleen when she lingered for a minute before saying goodnight and there was a parking spot in front of her house. God, I could go on...
Don't you wish you could go back and do it over again? Like a video game that you've already played a few times, so you know the right path to take, the dangers to dodge, and the mistakes you need to avoid. I certainly do. I would get a much better score this time.
