Hello! I’m a 24yo based in Boston and doing a PhD! I’m looking for a friend with benefits and thought I’d give this sub a shot. Little deets about me: you might have guessed that I’m a nerd by now. That’s correct! I like science and love working on challenging ideas. But I’m not a typical nerd who spends his time indoors. I love being outside the most. I love running, swimming, hiking, mountain biking and breaking my bones, long walks, lifting, and anything that gets me outside. Trees and river are my free therapists. I work too hard as a PhD student and my dream is to spend a few weeks living a slow life in the woods this summer. I’m well read, articulate, and have a good sense of humor. As much as I like cracking jokes, I never crack jokes on anyone’s weaknesses. I love making people feel good about themselves whenever I’m talking to them. I’m learning to be a good listener and enjoy hanging out with people who are kind, ambitious, and empathetic.

Now coming to the physical appearance part as that’s important for a FwB setting. I’m very active, have been told I’m cute, and have a well trimmed beard. I’m not a hulk but an attractive outdoorsy nerd. I don’t smoke or drink and take good care of myself.

What I’m looking for: someone in Boston area, bonus if we are looking for similar things and have common hobbies and values. Being kind and patient is super important. I’d want to take things slow.
