I moved to the Central Massachusetts area over the past year and a half for work, and am still gaining my footing when it comes to meeting new people. I'm getting the sense that the Central Massachusetts area isn't exactly the best for meet anyone anyone new, be it platonically or dating of any kind, since most people seem to already be partnered and established in their circles.
Dating apps have been mixed results with success which have fatigued me, so here's hoping this post might change that. I'm entering my 40s, am an educated professional with a fulfilling career, and am in excellent fit muscular shape. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, live music (a lot of indie rock and punk/hardcore,) museums, nature, but also recharging with a night in with good company. I'd like to keep an open mind as to what my goal of posting on here is, be it new friends, something casual yet consistent, or something more, so I'll just say that I value substance in my connections and that can extend to many different scenarios. FWIW, physically I'm average height, have short hair, a well-groomed beard and well groomed elsewhere, and am respectful of any boundaries.
