I posted here a few months ago looking for someone to "accidentally" meet my wife and I at a Mellencamp show in Worcester in March. I can only see a few of my messages and the post seems to be gone. Something I did no doubt. So I am reposting here to try and reconnect with everyone I was talking with. If this sounds familiar or totally new, reach out.

Let me start off by saying my wife and I are both 60. We are white and heavier than we like. We recently moved to near Farmington Maine and love it. We live alone and are trying to move on from seeing ourselves as just parents to our kids. It’s not as easy as you might think. Last month we made the trip down to Foxwood’s in Connecticut to see Brian Setzer. A step towards becoming the couple we used to be. At the show we sat in front of three much younger men. Mid-twenties I’m guessing. They knew quite a few of Setzer’s songs, probably the same way my kids do. At one point my wife started singing along and dancing with them. I did too actually. They bought us a drink and we did the same. We have had some adventures in our past but not for a long time, but we were both thinking the same thing. Unfortunately, they had roommates and we hadn’t arranged a hotel. Foxwoods would have taken 800 dollars of our money for a single king room but that was a bit steep, even under the circumstances. We ended up driving the five hours back to Maine after the show and talked about the night all the way home. Now a month out she is still talking about it. I offered to set something up but what she wants is what happened that night. Spontaneous lust. So yesterday I bought three tickets to John Mellencamp at the Hanover theater in Worcester for March. She thinks I bought two tickets. So I think you can see where this is going. I am looking for someone to sit next to us at the Mellencamp show and flirt with my wife. I will pay for the ticket and drinks and maybe dinner if that happens. I have rented a VRBO five minutes away from the Hanover, which you will be invited back to if all works as I hope. No guarantee of a place for you to stay though so you will need a contingency for a place to sleep. So, I suppose with the actual night being five months away, this is just a primary reach out for curious participants and for advice. The tickets cost 140.00 a piece so I only have one extra. They are first row balcony center. Lots of room in front of us to move around. Since the group from Foxwoods was made up of young guys, that demographic goes to the top of the list. But honestly, I think anyone who is really into it could work. Male or female, younger or older. The caveat here is that since she has no clue we have spoken, she could say no. I don’t see that happening, but it is possible. At the very least you see a great show for free and have your drinks paid for. I would really like someone who knows at least some of Mellencamp’s stuff, as a sing and dance along would be awesome. That’s it. I know its not your normal Reddit reach out for sex, but I think if you’re in it for more than just the end result you could really have a fun night.
