Ideally someone with which to have beverages, walks, meals, and conversation. Not looking for anything romantic, just empathy, humor, and authenticity.
I took a chance moving back to the East Coast working for a startup in Lexington back in November. In the past few months, my dad was diagnosed with cancer, my grandmother died, and had a therapist effectively 'dump' me saying she couldn't help. My company is going to go bankrupt in a few weeks so I'll likely be moving back home to help my dad.
I've got a lot on my plate so I'm casting out for a friend to commiserate and decompress over a coffee, beer, or marg, to help me enjoy my last few weeks outside Boston. I'm currently reading Ninth House and finished Sweet, Soft, Plenty Rhythm earlier this year--DM with books recs also please!
