How exactly are people finding rent that is <2k/mo? Am I just looking incorrectly?
Post Body

Hi,

I've been browsing apartments in Cambridge and Boston all I see in my searches are 2.5k for 1BR/1B and sometimes even for a studio. Are there not apartments that are not high rise/luxury apartments?

I am in Facebook groups and people say their budget is around 1k or less, sometimes 1500 and they seem to be able to find something. Not sure if im missing something.
