I have a room available in my apartment in Porter starting late August for either short or longer term. We're about a seven to ten minute walk to the T and Star Market.

It was newly remodeled when we moved in in March, and has a nice eat in kitchen. It's a third floor walkup. Laundry is coin op in the other building (two buildings on the lot). The room available is the smallest room, so I'm willing to give a discount on the rent split.

The other housemate is gone for the next several months, so it's just me and my cat right now. Furnished except for the bedroom, we have an extra bed frame that can be used.

Must be ok with cats, clean, and preferably vegan/vegetarian. LGBTQIA friendly.
