Iβm currently living with my wife in a rental house at the moment. The house is managed by β S β management and we are still fine until one day the landlord decided to sell the property. We agreed on giving them access for maintenance and open house at reasonable time so the landlord can sell this quickly.
However, the management that worked for him never respected us, they have been doing open house for 3 straight weeks now and itβs always on short notice
For example if the open house in on Saturday and Sunday, they would notice us on Friday for access. Which basically means that we have to get rid all of our plans to stay at home for the open house because the property is fully furnised with a lot of expensive items.
I was pissed off at the first open house because they noticed us 1 day before the event and texted the management to give us a week notice next time so we can prepare. Management agreed and apologized.
Next 2 times they did the same thing by telling us on short notice, and at this point Iβm angered
On my lease, it says β give access to the landlords on reasonable time / schedule β, and we have only been living here for 5 months, we have 7 months left.
Iβm looking for solutions and what are my rights for these situation, I want to say thank to whoever helps !
