Tony Brothers hate us cuz he ain't us. Through thorough research I have discovered the link that proves that Tony Brothers has a personal vendetta against the best NBA Franchise ever. The year is 1978 and a young Tony Brothers is beginning his high school career in Booker T Washington High School in Norfolk, VA. A military town located near Virginia Beach and right on the ocean. But a person he met (maybe his best friend) in high school changed his path forever. That man was Bruce Smith, Hall of Fame Defensive end for the Buffalo Bills and Washington Redskins.

Bruce Smith is an all time defensive player in the NFL. A 2-time NFL DPOY and a 4-time AFC DPOY, theres no denying his greatness. But his influence doesn't end on the football field where he was part of the Bills team that lost 4 straight Super Bowls. He also has an affect on Boston Celtics games officiated by Tony Brothers. Bruce Smith retired in 2003 having to watch the Patriots win in 2001, 2003, and then 2004 from his couch. This team, that was never considered an NFL powerhouse became the best NFL Franchise in history, just like the Celtics are to the NBA. This rubbed him the wrong way and gave him a hatred for Boston that exist until today. I don't know about you but I love watching my alumnus from high school succeed and brag that I went to school with them, I can't even imagine if it was my best friend such as Bruce Smith and Tony Brothers are. This is getting off track but heres where it comes full circle.

The Celtics got rid of their big 3 and struggled for a couple seasons until hype went through the roof with the King in the Fourth run and now the Kyrie, Hayward, Horford and co. being a very possible championship threat. He had a job to do and god damn is he doing it.
