I'm a huge sports fan and about 50% of the time I'm in the car I'm probably listening to sports talk radio but I seriously can't wrap my head around why Toucher and Rich have such a huge following. I love Felger and Mazz and I also love Adam Jones show main reasoning they don't ever get off topic and for all 4 hours or 4 if your Adam Jones there is absolutely no tomfoolery and I don't have any of my drive wasted talking about it they like pancakes or not. This reason is why I'm not a huge fan of Zo and Beetle but it's certainly better that T&R.

As for T&R I just don't get it. They're not New England Natives in fact their from Georgia and have zero ties to our teams nor do I think they do to sports in general. I know Felger is from Wisconsin but he gets a pass because he's covered the Pats the past 20 years and grew up a Bruins fan. The very little time they spend talking about sports is mainly just interview with Boston athletes, front office, or coaches in which it's really just to eat up sports time as they don't have any takeaways or statements to make. During the NFL ratings drop frenzy I was listening and Toucher simply said "look guys it's BORING, the sports is BORING" while I get his point in there are to many stoppages and what not, there is a part of me believes that Toucher really isn't a huge fan of the NFL and doesn't really care who wins or looses. Just the other day Toucher was talking about the Celtics and said "yeah I don't really watch much of the Celtics game but..." and then he went on to just make fun of Hienshon's commentary. I get it there not sports guys...so why are they the AM show of "Boston's home for sports" and on an entertainment level, I'm sorry I don't find them funny, it's like family guy humor where they'll say stuff that'll make you grin but never even laugh, and if you do laugh they hammer it so much to the point where it's just annoying and not even funny.

I dunno I just wish that after I spend 10 minutes scrapping ice off my car I could get a serious breakdown of the previous day or preview of the day in Boston sports with some serious and knowledgeable sports takes (i.e. Adam Jones, Felger and Mazz)
