Cooking classes in the Metrowest area or north of Boston
Post Body

I'm looking to get cooking classes for a gift for my mom - not because she needs them, but because we both like to cook and I thought it would be fun to go together to make something we don't normally make. I'm having a hard time finding interesting classes though, as many of them are either very basic (geared toward people who have no culinary skills), or don't seem interesting to me.

My mom lives in the Metrowest area, I work north of the city, and live in central MA. Ideally, I would like to find something either in the Metrowest area, or somewhere in the Chelmsford/Westford general area if it's a night class, so I could meet my mom there after I work. I think something like pastries, or Italian dishes, etc would be fun.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Any personal experiences with certain places? We don't spend crazy amounts of money, so I'm not interested in the places that cost hundreds of dollars per person. It can just be a class that's a few hours too.

I've taken some classes at local Voke schools, but it appears that most of the classes are already done for the term, and don't start again until the spring. I'm looking for something in the January/February timeframe if possible.
