Question about South End
Post Body

So I've been looking up places to move for the fall and found this one place in South End (Harrison St and Mass Ave, right next to Boston Medical Center). When I walked towards it the neighborhood seemed just fine and really nice, as South End is expected to be. The apartment is just awesome and I don't think I can get anything better for the price I'm getting it for. However, on my way back the building seemed to have "loonies" (for lack of better word) getting in and out of the elevator , like legit drug addicts. That's put me off, plus when walking back on Mass Ave towards Symphony it seemed like a very diverse demographic and I didn't get a very safe vibe.

Can anyone tell me if that neighborhood is safe to live at and move around? I tend to walk a lot everywhere I go, so this would be very helpful. Thanks
