I was surprised when I entered WFM on Cambridge Street near Massachusetts General Hospital last week and noticed it now closes at 10 pm agai, like previously.
I guess it closed at 9 pm for a few years because of the pandemic, perhaps?
Not many shoppers at 9:30 last Wednesday, but maybe most regulars aren't aware it's back to a 10 pm closing.
Obviously, the deli and salad/hot food bars close earlier, but a few pizza slices, probably lukewarm at best, were still available at the pizza bar. I was lucky to buy 2 fresh cheese slices recently at 9:45 pm at the Somerville store, however.
Fenway store closes at 10 pm, and I believe also for the Prospect St. and River St. stores in Cambridge...not sure about Alewife.
Brighton is 10 pm, I think. As is Beacon St. in Somerville.
Charlestown 9 pm?
It seems 9 pm for some or many suburbs.
Ink Block in the South End used to close at 10 pm, but now 9 pm. They told me last year they're keeping it at 9 pm due to crime and theft.
