fb marketplace scam?

I’ve been trying to sell something on Facebook marketplace and each person (like 5 or 6 dif ppl) who has messaged me has said they would have their brother pick it up and pay via zelle or PayPal. When I looked it up people seemed 50/50 on it being a scam & I’m desperately trying to get rid of something. Asking here just Incase it’s specific to bos. I’ve never really used fb so maybe this is common?
