I bought the 45's almost a year ago now and the listening, noise canceling, and battery life experience have all been nothing short of stellar. These are great headphones. With that said, the microphone has been the worst I've experienced since early 2010's skull candy earphones. Whenever I take a call with them, without fail, the person on the other end either does not hear me or complains that they can hardly hear me.
I figured I just had a faulty pair, so I returned them as they were and are under warranty. The new pair arrives and the issue persists. I've used tested them on 3 PCs, 2 iphones, and an android phone. The mic quality was equally awful across the board. I have a pair of QC 35 ii's and the mic works just fine on every device, it's a problem with the 45's.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've seen others complain about the mic but none seem to have been as glaring of an issue.
I've done a factory reset, and tried talking with ANC on and off, but nothing works.
