Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) And iOS 14 not pairing

Hi - I got a new phone recently and didn't use my headphones for a day or so. Meanwhile, I updated to iOS 14.
I went to use my headphones and of course the bluetooth wasn't set up so I tried to set it up via the Bose app. It sees the headphones but can't set it up. I also can't set it up via the bluetooth settings. I saw the instructions for resetting the headphones but it doesn't seem to do anything. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd really appreciate any advice.
