I Keep Reading About Promised Firmware That Resolves Auto-Off Issue on ST 300...Where is it?
Post Body

Hi, all. I got a ST 300 Sub a couple of days ago and have already started to notice some weird stuff. First, I am currently running 15.0.20 firmware. I'm not certain what the latest version actually is, but it seemed important to disclose that. Second, I've noticed the following weird issues:

1) When I use the HDMI ARC output of my Sony Bravia 900E, everything works as I would expect, right up until the moment when I try to turn off either device. Apparently the auto-on chain detection (or whatever it's actually called) causes the other device to be powered down automatically, but for whatever reason the Bose powers back on again causing the TV to get turned back on again. I got around this by disabling TV auto power on on the Sony, so not the biggest deal in the world. (I did try changing the CEC settings on the SoundTouch, but that just makes the TV not detect the sound bar for whatever reason. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )The only thing that's odd is that when I power everything down, the Bose still turns itself back on. I assume it eventually auto-off's (18 minutes?) but I don't stick around to find out.

2) More annoying is that if I pause video or mute the sound bar for more than 18 minutes, the Bose automatically goes to sleep (and turns my TV off in the process). I did a little research and was led to believe that that there was a forthcoming firmware update that would resolve this issue, but I believe I'm running a version later than the one that was supposed to resolve this issue. Does anyone have any inputs on this?

Thanks in advance!
