As is spelled out in the r/borrower introduction, lenders want to lend here largely when there is no de facto risk, e.g. they can be refunded quickly and easily. This is typically done through Paypal, but the possibility of a randomly distributed 21-day-hold is a negative for the borrower, who will be unable to access the funds. Candidly, I’ve missed rent and want to get back up to speed while I’m working on managing my cash flow more responsibly. If you’ll permit me to invoice you the amount via card through Stripe, that would provide the liquidity that I need to get all square and you’ll have those same chargeback privileges. I do social media management professionally and am growing my corporate clientele.
