I passed everything but the structured interview. I know I can retake this in 6 months but do I need to start from scratch?
Post Body

Passed my entrance exam back in June. Passed my Polygraph, Fitness and Medical in November. Just took my Drug Structured Interview and had this email come in.

I have never been in any type of officer field and I have read on this subreddit “if you fail this part you need to be stupid”. I am somewhat disappointed but also came to the realization that I passed everything that made me look like a good individual but didn’t pass their expectations of me in an officer position - which I understand is one of the most important things in this field.

I wasn’t completely ready for the interview and how it was set up. I am more used to in person interviews and then asking me about previous job.

I am a little disappointed in myself but understand that I can always come back and reapply.

My question to people who have failed this portion is: if or when I reapply in 6 month do I need to start from scratch or do I pick back up where I started? How do I go about this?
